Change Real Time Cube to a Basis Cube

Hi Experts,

Can i change a Real time cube to a Basic Cube?

If Yes, What are the steps involved?

Hi ,

You can use use the function Module RSAPO_SWITCH_BATCH_TO_TRANS and RSAPO_SWITCH_TRANS_TO_BATCH.

Or if you are creating a process chain for the same, use the process types Switch to Plan mode and Switch to Load mode.

Hi Bhargava,

Depending upon the operation you want to carry out on the real time cube you may need to switch the load behaviour:

1. Planning allowed but loading not allowed

2. planning not allowed but loading is allowed

you can achieve the same by right click on the cube and selecting the real time load behaviour and then choose the appropriate option.

when you will change this setting it will ask if you want to save this under a transport, you may ignore that message.

Hi

We can change the real time infocube to basic cube. when you right click on the cube there will be a option called Change Real-time Load behaviour in that there will be two options if you set as planning not allowed it will work as a Basic Cube.

go to se38---> SAP_CONVERT_TO_TRANSACTIONAL
