Components PR is not created in MD01 but creaetd in MD02

Hi,

If I run MRP in MD01 the bom is not exploding and the PR for components not created. But IF I run the MRP in MD02 the the bom is exploded and the PR for components are created.

Can any one give suggestions.

    Hi,

    Check for planning file entry. Check via MD21, if it does not exist make one via MD20. But i would suggest to run in mass to ensure proper entries are made. Schedule MDRE & MDAG to ensure the materials have proper planning file entries.

    Once the above is done, ensure the bom validity periods.

    Revert if it does not resolve the issue.

      Hi,

      If the planning file entry exists, can you verify if there is a tick mark for any of the processing keys (NETCH etc) in MD21?

      Also can you let me know if these raw materials have some special procurement key as in STO from another plant etc? If yes then you would have to define a scope of planning in OM0E with the originating plant as the first followed by the supplying plant. Then use this scope of planning in MD01.

      Check & revert, if the above resolves the issue.
