Connecting to R/3 System

Hi,

I created a SAP Transcatio Iview.For this I created a System with aliases.I tested the system using the option "connection test",its working fine.I mention the system aliases name in the Iview(SAP Transcatio Iview) .The error i`m getting is "Internet explorer cannot display the page".I configured the system correctly.

Please help me out.

Hi Arun.

More likely you are not using a fully qualified domain name of your portal and backend system. Check SAP Notes 1334956, 654982.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6, you also need to change the IE6 security settings "Allow subframes to navigate across different domains" to enabled (refer to SAP Note 1261902 and ).

Also do not hesitate to Search on SDN, there are a lot of places where you are able to find an answer by yourself.

I`m using IE7.Also i tested the backend server using the connection tests(SAP Web AS,ITS,connectors).Its working fine.But when i created a Iview and give the system alias name,its giving the error" Internetexplorer page cannot be displayed"

Hi Arun.

Does your user have the End User permissions on your system object in the portal's SLD?

And check your server log and traces (defaultTrace.*.trc, etc.) for the explanation of the error.

ya I`ve permission in system object.Still coming the same error.The error is "Internet page cannot be displayed".

1.Does this user exist in the backend system?

2.Did you create the transaction iview as a SAP GUI for HTML or Windows, try creating it for windows and test.

Also, test your SSO and let us know the results.

The problem got solved.Actually i created a new system >Its working fine.All the parameters are same as the old one.I don`t know whats the reason.Thank u all for your support.
