controlling cost elements.....

HI experts,

We use primary cost and secondary cost elements.......

1. primary cost elements will be created in FI (GL accounts) used in CO for reporting purpose

2. secondary cost elements will be created in CO and does not any effect in FI

my question is...

HOw we will create secondary cost elements?

In FI using GL accounts? or

In CO ? without using GL accounts or GL account group?

Hi,

Use t.code KA01 to created Secondary Cost Element. These secondary cost elements are not created as GL Accounts.
