Multi model shipments through Hub

Hi,

We are trying to model multi modal shipment through a hub.

The flow is form Plant > Hub> Depot

Plant to Hub uses Truck 1 & Trailor 1

Hub to Depot uses Truck 2 & Trailor 1

We have created a transhipment hierarchy as follows

Transshipment Hierarchy( It is name of the hierarchy)

---Hub

--- Depot

We have tried using both extended and normal hierarchy with 2 levels.

We have created following lanes

Plant to Hub ( with means of Transport as Truck1 & Trailor 1)

Hub to Depot ( with means of Transport as Truck2 & Trailor 1)

Depot to Hub ( with means of Transport as Truck2 & Trailor 1)

Hub to Plant ( with means of Transport as Truck1 & Trailor 1)

All the relevant locations and selection in the optimizer profile.

When the optimizer is run , the optimizer terminates without a solution with the message " orders cannot be scheduled in the plannign horizon"

The planning horizon is long enough to complete the shipment ( defined as 4 months , where shipment duration is 1 hr)

Kindly suggest what could be an issue here?

Hi Vasu,

I am not sure of which SCM version that you are using.

Check the sap notes 436556, 1023970, 1232684, 897959

and 435697 & implement the one which is relevant for you.
