Career on Solution Manager

Hi Folks ,

Im basically SAP CRM Functional Consultant. I have 4 yrs of experience in SD and CRM Modules as well. I just want to how it would be the career on SAP Solution Manager. For the past 1 yr i m getting the chance on Solution Manager - i worked on Service Desk, CHaRM , Project Management, DMS & Test Plan management. I just want your suggestion , can i continue with Solman or SAP CRM and what would be future for it.

Hi Amrita,

SAP CRM is far more interesting as compared to Solution Manager.With the current version of SAP CRM 7.0 with WEB-UI interface which makes it more intresting and easy for functional consultants now.( it does require a bit understanding of BOL-GENIL Programming). The new WEB-UI is based on customer feedback and competitor analysis.Tthe basic module of SAP CRM (Sales ,marketing and service,CIC ) and CRM Analytics are really picking up.

Also the advanced modules like E-commerce ,Partner channel managment ,Internet sales are really worth to learn , as the usage of internet is growing hence you should continue your carrer with SAP CRM.
