salesforce different results in CR XI r2 and CR 2008

I have an issue where I am getting incorrect results from CR XI r2 with SP5 using the salesforce 3.0 driver

when i run a simple query 'select * from event where activitydate - '2010-02-03' in CR XI not all of the records are returned If I run the same report in CR 2008 i got the same results still with missing records.

However after upgrading CR2008 to SP2 and applying the patch fix cr2008_fp22 the report now returns the correct records

As our production servers aren't yet using CR2008 I need to know if this can be fixed in CR XI r2 and if there are any known issues with salesforce and this version
