Authorization BI-IP

Hi,

one question regarding the authorization concept of BW.

We upgraded BW 3.5 to BW 7.0. But we still use the authorization concept from BW 3.5.

Now we think about to use BI-IP functionality (input ready queries).

Is ist possible to use BI-IP also with the authorization concept of BW 3.5 or it is required to implement the concept of BW 7.0

We don't want to change the concept by now.

Do you have any information.

Hi Michael,

Yes, it is possible for you to use input ready queries with the old auth. concept BUT it is not recommended and you should be aware of the caution in note 1125108.
