Absence Quota Deduction?

Hi Experts,

My client has a scenario.

They want Absence Quota say CL = 10 should be deducted from 1st july of every calendar year.

An employee could avail this Quota after 6 months of every calendar year (i.e from 1st July onwards).

How should I configure this. Pls give your valuable suggestions.

Thanks & Regards

Lalit

    Hi,

You have 3 options (see table T559V):

    1. Preferable: Set validity interval with valid from date equal calendar year start and then put relative position 6 month.

    1. Use key date in IT 0041 equal to 01.07. This will require data maintenance in IT 0041 for this date type. What may lead to error. So I don't recommend it

    2. Use option of payroll periods and generate them for every year starting from 01.07. I think it is unnecesarily complex. So I din't recommend it to.

For deduction interval: set it as equal to start and end date of validity interval, but with relative position of 6 months. Then employee will have quota calculated but will be able to use just after 6 months.

    Cheers

    Hi,

You can maintain the Deduction From date and Deduction To date for the partucular Absence Quota in IT2006.
