Hi Experts,
I am currently working on SPDD Phase of (ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0) Upgrade Project.I got the requirement of changing the values of domain i.e retaining old version values in the domain. Hence i manually included the values in the new version and activated .
I want to know that manual activation of domain leads any inconsistency or not.
Kindly advice me.

Hello,
It won't be leading to any inconsistencies. But you have to take care that the Functionality should be the same.
If you activate domain by making changes manually and functionality is same there is no problem.

Hi ,
If you wnat to use the old version ( customer modifications ) and incase the domain (or any object for that case) has a green ltraffic light, you can just click on 'adopt modification' and it takes care of all teh changes. But if have a Red or an yellow traffic light ,you will have to modify manually and make sure that all the changes have been done as in the old system and it is error free. If you have done this, you need not be paranoid abt it.
