Hi Experts,

This is about the master data changes for legal entity hierarchy,

We want to change the consolidation unit & consolidation group's - year & period of First consolidation.

As we need to change for full legal entity hierarchy.

We are looking at possibilities of Load from data stream & flexi upload for period "2010, 000"

Expected change

We want to change the year & period of First consolidation from 2010 - 001 to 2010 - 000

Please help.

Thanks

Kamal

Hi Kamal,

I do not think that you'll be able to upload something to period 000. Why do not use the standard approach - to upload data into the last period of the yeat prev to reporting, make there all eliminations and CoI and then BCS to the new year?

I concur with Eugene that it will likely not allow period 000 for first consolidation and that using the last period of the prior year is the typical solution. In this case it is important to execute balance carryforward in period 001 of 2010.

Oh, it's my fault - misprinted BCS for BCF.

Anyway, thanks Dan for repeating my answer.

Hi,

We could solve the issue, By correcting the master data manually. We just removed the date in first consolidation year & period.

We can not re run the master data in prior period as the changes are effective from 01, 2010 only.

Thanks for help.

Right, if you were interested in changing master data, then they do not know what it is the period 000. If you would interesteded in changing data in the period 000, then it had to be talk about transactional, not master data.
