Hi
does anyone know how i can change the default settings for the unit of measure, when i use transaction MMBE ?
I wish to change the default, for my personal use only ,( not a global change) from KGM to TNE
Any ideas ?
Many thanks
Tony
Hello,
in the selection screen of transaction MMBE you can use field "Display Unit of Measure" (MEINH) to decide the UoM taken into account for the output. You can save a variant in which field "Display Unit of Measure" is filled with the desired value.
Hope to be useful.
Best regards,
Andrea

you can have option You can dynamically view with another unit of measure.
For this select Extras --Allowed units of measure (F6).It will show another unit of measure.

Hi Tony,
I think that it is not possible, becuase the choice of which UOM you want to see in MMBE is Material dependent, meaning that you cannot choose a display UOM before you had chosen a material. The system needs that to check that the chosen UOM is an alternative UOM of that material.

no you can not change. Unit of measure will maintain at the time of material creation.
you can add Ordrer unit and issue unit. For that you need to maintain alternate units of measure in material master.
