Hi Gurus,
is it possible to enhance a FI data source when deltas are running in production?
Can some one suggest what is the procedure in production and the steps to follow when transporting to production?
we are in 7.0.
Thanks
Sri

Hi Siva,
Thanks for the reply. If it is OK to enhanco then how my delta will work, for the new data source (enhaced one) how the init and delta works because i need to load the data into a new data target.
for example earlier i am loading to Target 1 with delts and now i need to initialize to target 2 .
how is it possible.
Thanks
Sri
Hey Vikram,
one last question, what you mean to say is we are not initializing for the new data source, but we are running a full repair and deltas, right.
question1: when we run the repair how deltas will be enabled for the new target?DTP is going to take care of the delta, right.for the new design till info pack we load the full load and from dtp we load delta.correct me...
Thanks
Sri

Hi,
Yes you are right we will be running full repair for historic data.
question1: when we run the repair how deltas will be enabled for the new target?DTP is going to take care of the delta, right.for the new design till info pack we load the full load and from dtp we load delta.correct me...
Once you enable the delta after doing the initialization, if you create a new DTP and do a full load for selections, it will act as a Full Repair.
For more details on DTP, you can read my article :
