The variable Number 80 belongs to which form, table and where it is stored in the database?
what is the difference between system variable and database in case of PLD?
The database fields are gathered direct from the database fields.
In PLD (Print Layout Designer) you can only get the fields that are directly exposed to that template. You can see the list of table available from the database fields. It is different for each template and also for type of document or report.
The variable from the form reports not always mach in the PLD. It may works in a patch but maybe not in the next patch level.
The variable list mentioned in the previous reply are the official one for the 2007 A Release.

The system variables are accessible only in system defined forms. They are received from the program running in the background.
