Hi ,
I would like to know about the points milestones in SDN. I read in SDN that on crossing the 250 points milestone, one would be invited to Community day .Is this still valid ? If so, I would like to know whether it is on crossing of 250 total annual points, or 250 Forum points . Also, is there any period validity for the same, like , one should complete 250 points before April or any such conditions. Any other clauses?
I know I am long way to go for this, but I would want to know this so that I would atleast aim for it.
Thanks,
Maansi

I know that you get an invitation for SAP SDN Community Profile, which I wonder why I haven't got yet
There is nothign as community day.
And yes, you are right, the mark is 250 points as mentioned by SDN.
Also, the calculation of 250 points annually is required for you to be an Active Contributor on SDN. (Calendar Year)

Cheers!

From what I know, only the Top (3?)Contributors of every forum get invitations to attend SAP Community Day, which is the day before Tech'Ed begins. But some popular contributors who are not Top Contributors (like yours truly) do get an Invitation if they ask for it
I had attended the Community Day in 2008. Come 2009, SAP did not conduct any Community Day across all locations. So cant comment on that!

As rightly Kishan said, there was no Community Day in 2009 and hence, there was no invitation to anybody. In order to qualify for this, you need to be a Top Contributor (dont know the exact limit top 10 or 50 ). Also for 2010 Community Day, only Craig and his team has to decide whether this year they are going to conduct in Bangalore, India, if not in any other countries. (

Hello,
I have never heard about this Community day, but if there is something like that I am definitely in. But from my point of view (and my everyday luck) it will be held somewhere on a different planet and would be impossible for me to get there (maybe Dilli is a good place for a guy from Mid Europe:))).
