I get the following error about Communication failure, everytime i try to login.

"[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Transport error: Communication failure.

(hr=#0x80042a01)"

Kindly suggest me as soon as possible.

This will typicall be down to your firewall settings. When using deski/designer you will need to have access to the communication port and the request port of the CMS, InputFRS and OutputFRS. These are typically set dynamically, so a firewall will block such ports. Using the -port/-requestport options in the CCM (for BOXI r2) or the port/requestport options in the CMC (for BOXIv3) you can change these settings to be not set dynamically but each value set to a unique (and unused) port number. Open the firewall to allow communication on these ports and you're in business.

    Hi Nina,

do you try to connect for e.g. Universe Designer with Enterprise Authentication through Public Internet and a Firewall ?

If you use the SAP Authentication...have you got the SAP Integration Kit installed ?

    Kind Regards, Alican
