Hi,

Material description does not go to any of FI tables, and therefore cannot be viewed via FBL3N transaction.

Hai eli,

thanks for the quick response,

in fbl3n the user wants to see the the material description for materiel gl accounts for that purpose what we did is in MIGO in where tab one text fild comes for that field we worked with abaper there is some user exits are there we populated above materil discrption to text filed at the time of migo posting automatically once you save and go and see in fbl3n the materiel accounts for example inventory account and gr/ir account in text filled is showing in text filed (materiel description), like in miro also i want to do like that. but in miro text field is not showing for materiel wise. one text is showing that is vendor related text if we give the text we can see for vendors only not for materials,

i have done for MIGO .is there any user exits or any thing for MIRO also to update in fi (TEXT FIELD)

Thanks

Hi Amarnath,

A simmular request in the past I solved with a user exit in a FI substitution:

When PO number / Line nuber NE blanc

In the user exit from the substitution you use the PO number / line item number for reading the PO text and this you place in the text field

HI,

see SAPNET note 984305 it describes how to define special fields in line item reporting.
