Contact not visible after having MKT Areas in MKT Cloud

Hi Experts,

I assigned mkt areas to my business role and i have assigned the same mkt areas to the contacts . I am not able to see the contacts and its showing blank in the contacts app.

I tested the mkt area assigned to campaign or target group and templates .there its showing properly .

Hi Rashmi,

Can you please confirm how you have assigned the marketing areas? Try to run a application job and enrich your contact with marketing areas. Then check if the marketing area is shown on the contact app.

Otherwise create a manual contact and assign the marketing area to it.

I personally would need to check your system setup to make an educated recommendation.

I guess you will need to open a ticket on support.sap.com.

Hi Rashmi,

Did you check with an "unrestricted" user whether the contacts really have the correct marketing area assigned?

Hi ,

Yes i did. I have assigned a user with mkt area and same mkt area is also present in the contacts . The country field is blank for both read and write access . the contact has the country assigned in the profile.

Hello Rashmi,

you need to set 'Unrestricted Access' for the Country - please refer to the following KBA note:

2676622 - Not able to see contacts when Marketing Area is assigned

Having the Country as blank, restricts the user for contacts without country information only.
