Error Showing-"PLANT DOES NOT EXIST " When executing transaction MD03

Hell All,

When i am executing transaction MD03,by selecting respective material & plant,the error msg is showing as "PLANT DOES NOT EXIST" & the transaction is not excuted.

Butwhen checked, the material is well maintained for the respective plant.

Can any one put some light on the same asap,so that the error msg can be removed.

    are you sure that you have done your MRP customizing?

    this message is triggered in an include program to SAPMM61C.

    immediatly before SAP is cheching whether the plant exists in table T001W.

    Assuming that all your plants are in this table T001W, SAP may not find the plant there if it is searching this table with a value that is not present there. e.g. when plant field is empty because of prior checks in other customizing ares.

    Or you deleted a plant from customizing, but you had used this deleted plant in a special procurement key, that is assigned to your material.

    Hi Jyoti,

    Please check whether the plant exisst in the table T001W with proper factory calendar and the calendar should be valid.

    If not please maintain and check.

    You can take ABAP consultant help to trace this error.

    there are 168 messages in my system for "plant does not exist"

    Which one do you get? double click the message to obtain message number and submit it to the forum.
