Send mail from SAP to external mail server .. like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail.

Dear all,

we want to send an email from SAP to external email server like yahoo, gmail, hotmail.

can any one please guide me how to do this?

our ERP is SAP ECC 4.6

Hi,

update default domain name in scot> settings>default domain

check with exchange server administrator for relay permisions to external server.

Check SCOT

Check SMICM if SMTP Service exist.

first you have to check either your SMTP service is ON if not then Start that service , afterwards you have to create a domain server -

There is no such thing as ECC 4.6 only R/3 4.6 and ECC 6.0

Hi,

Please refer this SAP Note 455140 - Configuration of e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP and follow the steps.

Ensure that the sender system is having relay access at mail server.
