Crystall2008 and CrystalIX

My local computer has Crystal XI and Crystal 2008 install. When I try to reset JDBC connection in crystal 2008 it crash . Iu2019m getting this error:

Crystal Reports has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Error signature:

AppName crw32.exe AppVersion12.0.0.683 AppStamp:74c8be9a

ModName ntdll.dll ModVersion 5.1.2600.35200 ModStamp 498fff10

Any idea???

Hi Irena,

CR 2008 and XI can reside on the same PC. There have been patches that will update the JDBC drivers. Go to the download page by clicking on the Businessobjects tab above and then select Downloads and fill in the options. Select Service Pack in the last drop down.

Install SP 1 and then SP2 and then test again.
