SAP Portal: No logon page visible

Hi experts,

I'm working with SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0.1 (Windows). After deploying some PAR files and installing a new Theme, I have made changes on the rule collection.

After restart I cannot see the logon page. Nothing happens by "http://myhost:50000/irj/portal" (it is just a blank page). In source code, there are no helpful information. Only in NWA (Administration) panel, I can see the error below in the logs:

Exception ID:07:09_09/02/10_0048_1756150

    Hi

Try rolling back the changes to the rule collection and see if the old stuff works. Then we can analyze the issue more specifically.

    Thanks

Solved my problem by using a system backup.

However, I'm still interested in a solution because every answer in the forums here involve replacement of the URL which does not work at all - still blank page.

What I tried and what didn't help so far (ideas came from SDN, especially the threads referenced in here):

      1. deleted my test_masthead.par from folders on OS-level

      2. deployed original sap masthead.par to folder on OS-level

      3. copied themes from a working portal into folders on OS-level

      4. Logged in to NWA (which works) to get a session cookie, tried to exchange URLs (e.g. Rule Collection; Theme Editor; Admin Console)

      5. tried to use different URL parameters to change theme, e.g. ?theme=sap_chrome or ?sapcss=fullPathToTheme

      Regards

      Michael

To restore the corrupted(may wrong entries like mapped corrupted desktop to * users) master rule /Framework Page / Desktop which may causes in login into the portal.

Access Content admin using below direct URL and then fix the required framework page.

    http://portal:port/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fadministrator!2fsuper_admin!2fsuper_admin_role!2fcom.sap.portal.content_administration!2fcom.sap.portal.content_admin_ws!2fcom.sap.portal.portal_content

Access System admin using below direct URL to access Master Rule Collection to fix the wrong rules.

    http://portal:port/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fadministrator!2fsuper_admin!2fsuper_admin_role!2fcom.sap.portal.system_administration!2fcom.sap.portal.system_admin_ws!2fcom.sap.portal.system_configuration!2fcom.sap.portal.portal.display!2fcom.sap.portal.wd_portalDisplayRules

Similar way we can build UWL to access portal contents folders.

    Regards
