error in EEWB

Hi

I am adding a new custom field for BP using EEWB in 6.0 version.

When i create the extension after creating the transport and assign the transport request and package.

i have given BUPA and ADDNEWFIELDS and when saved

The wizard is not started, the error displayed is BDT-DC is Not Prepared for This Application Object

Please can anyone suggest how to solve this problem.

HelloIf you are using the CRM 2007 or 7.0 Why you are using EEWB use Web GUI Extensibility feature you can add a field

in few steps few minutes

Hi Gurus,

I have the same problem trying to enhance the BUPA Object ( BP Financial Service) in the same way. I either not use the WEB tool because the buttom of "create new fields" is in grey. Anybody found a solution for this issue?

Hello Kranthi & Nicolas,

Follow below steps.

The xdcflag in the table TBZ1 needs to be set.

Please follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Start the transaction SM30.

2. Enter the name of the Table/View as V_TBZ1_DC.

3. Press the 'Maintain' button.

4. Double click on the Application Object you are trying to extend(for e.g., BUPA)

5. Mark the checkbox 'Active in DC' under the section 'BDT DC Settings'.

6. Save the data.

One more thing

if you want to extend your EEWB fields BW system make sure that you select BW option in SM30 of SMOFAPPL.
