Optimizer on UNIX

Hi people,

I need to install the sap optimizer in a dedicated server because the SCM server is on UNIX O.S.

This dedicated server has to be on windows or linux. But there are a requirement for install optimizer on windows/linux O.S, this is the sap gateway standalone.

And in the Service Market Place only I´ve found the windows/unix guide. How is it?

I´m looking for a system SCM 7.0 with EHP1 (7.01). Only it´s possible to install on windows and Unix?

The standalone gateway for Unix should work in linux,

Sounds about right... you said before that the gateway was a requirement.

Yes, its a requeriment.

But it´s contradictory that in the guide only lets to install on windows and Linux, but not in UNIX. After that the sap gateway standalonte is a prerequisite for both, but the installation guide for the gateway only there are on windows and UNIX.

And this knowing the strict of SAP...

Don't worry install the gateway in linux as per the installation guide and then proceed with the optimizer
