Hi Experts,
Recently we have upgraded the latest version of stack for which currently we are involved in testing end to end scenarios in SCM 5.0 ,but we are facing some issues in ALLocation planning .
The sales orders of some of the line items in R/3 are confirming even though no allocations maintained in APO planning book and Neither ATP qty is available.
I would like to know whether this issue is pertained to data consistency or stack upgration .
I dont think this is a configeration issue because earlier it was working fine.
Please let me know if any thing can be done to over come the issue.
Thanks,
Manikrishna
Hi
Try to look where the system is picking the Allocation quantities from? You can do this in TCode /sapapo/ac42.
This can happen if you're using the configuration setting of Product Allocation Group without the check box "Check Planning Area". In this case, system does not read the allocation data from the planning area in the run time. With a background or interactively, you should have transferred planning area data into Product Allocation Group. So even if the data is later removed from planning area, Product Allocation Group still contains data. To sync up Planning Area and Product Allocation Group, you can run the Copy Data from Planning Area to Product Allocation Group program again, /SAPAPO/ATPQ_PAREA_R so that old allocation data will be overwritten with new data.
Also, it helps to check Live Cache inconsistencies for Product Allocations with /sapapo/om17 after doing this exercise.
Hope that helps.

Mohan

Hi Manikrishna,
I mostly feel this could be because of data inconsistency
problem.
1) Try running /sapapo/ccr for stocks and sales orders and
recheck
2) If it is not working, try checking with anyone of the following
reports
/SAPAPO/ATPQ_CHKCUST
/SAPAPO/ATPQ_CHKUSG
/SAPAPO/TSCONS
3) Check for any blocked queues
Please confirm your findings

Hi senthil...Thanks for your Reply....I ran the list of transactions which you have updated but still we are facing the same issue.....
/SAPAPO/ATPQ_CHKUSG .....it is aking for Product allocation object ID and allocation group .....
So can we get the PLu id of the particalar combination...I checked in table /SAPAPO/QTOBJ it is displaying all the plu Ids related to allocation group .There are no particular selections to select respective combination ...
Could you please let me know from where i can get a plu id for a particular combination.
Thanks,
manikrishna
