WT calculation as % of IT0008

Hi Guys

I need to pay incentives to our employees thru IT0015 usinga new WT. The calculation should be based on the salary WT in IT0008. It should be just like - enter a %age in IT0015 and it should check salary in IT0008 and calculate the corresponding $$ amount. Is it possible thru WT config or we need to write a PCR.

please suggest.

Hi,

There was very similar question quite recently:

In short you need to do following:

1. Set in table V_T511 in fields Amount -, Number +.

2. Then you can use indirect evaluation module UNIT (same table, press F1 to get more details about evaluation modules).

3. In table T529J set valuation basis, i.e. what wage type will be base for derived wage type.

I tried every combination possible ( that I know) but it does not take the annal salary. what am I missing here?

It takes the value from Base WT that is entered into T539J. Suppose I use WT01 for regular salary, then the bi-weekly salary * n% is calculated. I want Annual Salary * n% to be calculated.

Any thought?

If I understood correctly, I suggest that you can use the custom schema operation to do that. Create a new operation and call that in your payroll schema when you have that WT in IT0015 for that pay period. This will calculate the amount dynamically during the payroll run.

i came to conclude that it would not work for annual sal. it would work only based on bi-weekly or weekly salary wage type
