Hi Folks,

I'm trying to create a rfc destination of type H. I don't know what to fill in the Path Prefix field. And in the logon security shall I give the ECC system details or the XI system details. Kindly help me out creating it. I refered some blog & Wiki as well but no where it is clear.

Regards,

Santosh

suppose i am creating a type H in XI system ...

You set up the HTTP destination in the SAP XI system by using transaction SM59. Use the following path prefixes in the Target System Settings.

1. /sap/xi/engine?type=entry

for SAP systems based on SAP BASIS 6.40 (XI 3.0 message protocol).

2. /sap/xi/engine?type=receiver

for SAP systems based on SAP BASIS 6.20 (XI 2.0 message protocol).

the logon details here would be the corresponding R3 system that XI is going to connect to using this type H connection

Hi Folks,

Thank you all for all your replies. I tried all the possible cases suggested by you people.

But when I'm doing a connection test I'm getting the below error.

~response_line HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

~server_protocol HTTP/1.1

~status_code 404

~status_reason Not Found

connection close

pragma no-cache

cache-control no-cache

expires 0

content-type text/html

content-length 1845

server SAP J2EE Engine/7.00

date Tue, 09 Feb 2010 04:55:48 GMT

*~remote_addr *

~uri_scheme_expanded NONE

404 Not Found

First - Where are you creating this RFC destination?

If in ECC, you need to give XI system logon details otherwise, vice-versa.

In both the cases the path prefix would be the pipeline entrypoint URL as mentioned in the above replies.
