PI entry error/problem

Hi All

I create a PI count using LX16 and then enter the count results in LI11N. Once all quantities are entered in the initial screen a screen appears and advises of % of variance if the quantity entered is not the same as the current stock.

However, sometimes the screen displaying the differences does not appear even though the counted quantity and the stock quantity are different. Why is this?

Warehousing use the differences screen to indicate on a count sheet that there is a variance and then have the part re-counted. The re-counted quantity (if different) is re-entered using LI12N. WM clearing using LI20 and IM clearing using LI21 complete the count.

it dependends on your customizing made for differences

in IMG > LE > WM > Activities > Physical Inventory > Define Default Values

Settings were set at 5% and the variance I was looking at was 3.35%
