Dear SAP Gurus,

I have a scenario in which i want the MRP generated PR to consider Maximum Order Quantity.

MRP Type: VB, Lot Size = HB

Reorder Point and Max Stock Level are same in our case.

Reorder Point - 100, Max. Stock Level - 100. Current Stock - 50

Maximum Order Quantity = 20

We want the MRP to generate a PR of 20 Quantity instead of 50 PCS as we are running MRP on daily basis. Next Day the MRP will generate 20 Qty and 3rd Day it should generate 10.

Day1 : PR1 = 20 PC,

Day2: PR2 = 20 PC,

Day 3: PR3 = 10 PC.

This is my requirement, how can i achieve this.

Dear Sudheer,

Can we use the Lot size in this scenario to generate a PR upto Maximum Lot Size and only one PR and rest of the required quantity to be ignored.

Thanks.

Dear Lingaiah,

As per our scenario, we do not need three Purchase Requisitions for all the requirements on the same day. It should generate 20 today, then next 20 Qty tomorrow and remaining 10 will be on third day when MRP will run.

How can i achieve this.

Thanks.

Hi,
You can convince the user, as per his required quantity PR is generated 20,20 &10, but PR is generated on the same day. If user executes the MRP on next day sobviously system will not generate PR.

Hi,

Maintain the master data as below, but purchase requisitions will be created on the same day.
