Hi all,

I have a requirement to use counter/reading to store the vehicle mileage.

When i launch the WebUI as IC_Auto, and create a car as iobject, all the fields in "Counter" is disabled. Any idea when an counter or reading can be maintained?

Please correct me if I am wrong, as I would like to maintain vehicle mileage, Reading will be the correct field to maintained this instead of Counter?

cheers,

ginnie

Hello Ginnie,

I am not sure if you were using DBM or Dealer portal.

In case you are using DBM, and have hosted the application on a web UI, pl ensure that you go to the Vehicle Detail section to change the Counter reading in Vehicle master, instead of trying it in overview tab.

If this application hosted online is a changed version of the standard, make sure that you have the counter reading active in the change mode, so that you could post some value into the vehicle.

Another way of changing the counter reading is through a service order for the vehicle, where in any value updated in the header section would update the vehicle master directly.

If you are using Dealer Portal, pl ignore my post.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt reply. My scenario is CRM Standalone.

IC_Auto will confirm a customer and proceed to add vehicle information that this customer owns (ISAM_OWN_MANUALLY), such as the Vehicle Manufacturer, Model and also the vehicle mileage for first entry.

I assigned Counter and IOBMP (measuring point for counter) in CRM product category relationship, but unable to enter in either counter or reading column. Is there any further configuration required?

cheers,

ginnie
