    Dear Pert,

How did you create Alt BOM, Via CS01 or any other T-code

Try to create Via CS01, then you will not get any problem

say for exapmple A required component B as Alt 1 component,& C as Alt 2 component

    Regards

    Madhu

    Dear Mr.Kumar

Yes i am creating BOM through CS01

We have already created BOM of A semifinish Part with raw material X

Now i want to create Alt BOM of A Semifinsh with Y Raw material

But when i create alt bom of this it changed Alt 1 ie original BOM of A with Raw material Y and now system shows both bom in display but inside material is with raw of Y.

can we change item id 00000001 00000002 to 00000003 00000004 if yes how ?
