Hi ,

How do I import two RFCs into single Adaptive RFC model created in my Web Dynpro DC?

I have already create a Adaptive RFC model and imported one RFC.

Now I want to know how do I import second RFC into same model?

Can anybody please guide me with it with steps?

Thanks and regards,

Amey Mogare

Hi Srinivas,

Thank you for reply. It was a very useful article indeed.

I wanted to know how do I import another RFC into same model.

I mean, when I click on "Web Dynpro DC --> Web Dynpro --> Models", I see a screen where I need to enter model name, package, JCO names and all details.

What should I fill in there?

Or

Do I have to re-import existing model and select one more RFC in selection check-box which appears later?

Thanks and regards,

Hi Amay,

For new model - You can put your custom model name, package name. but for JCO name, check your JCO Destination used for backend connection for impoting RFC's.

You can also re-import existing model if you want to add RFC in the same model.

Thanks

Hi Amey,

If you want to add more BAPIs and/or RFCs to a single model you can, add when creating the model all the functions you want, then create the model. If the model is already created choose re-import model and search for the additional functions, a warning window will tell you that model changes may need a server restart, this isn´t necessary true unless you have modified the structure of any of the already imported functions.

Hope it helps.
