Gurus,
Can we have 2 BW system connect to the same ECC6?
If yes, how can we ensure that the same data (full load + Delta) will be send into two different BW system?
Please advise, thank you.
Yes...
it would be possible.. you can connect any number of BI systems to one ECC server.
Logical system name and the RFC name for the BI systems would be different isnt? if that is the case, there would be no issues at all.

Kumar,
Yes, you're right - the logical system name is different.
Question now is how did we capture the delta?
i.e. when i modify the PO and save, then this delta will be captured and the V3 job will transfer the data into RSA7.
So if this changes have been extracted into one BI system, how can we also extract this delta into another BI system?
If you can provide me with other example, that will be great.
Please explain, thank you.
Sven,
Thanks but this thread is different from the other - although similar
This is the background of our environment. We have BW 3.5 (BW 1) connected to our ECC6 for 3 years. The BW 3.5 is up and running since then. Now, we are going to connect another BW (BW 2)system to this ECC6 and load the data onto it.
So what I need to do is:
1) Connect the BW 2 to ECC6.
2) Perform the INIT for all Data Source.
After the above, in RSA7, I should be able to see 2 Data Source (one for BW 1 and another for BW 2).
So if the delta have been loaded for BW 1, I still have delta sitting in RSA7 for BW 2. And therefore, I can still load the delta for BW 2 into BW 2, correct?
Please advise, thank you.
