Settle value of assets to different depreciaton area by using cjic

Hi experts!

I would like to settle the amounts on the AUC to completed fixed asset by using rule settlement for WBS .

My problem is, that I would like assign value, not only to book depreciation, but also to another depreciation area, sometimes to one, another time to another. Is it possible ?

Hi,

During distributing lines items for capital investment project, I choose settlement receiver, for this example, number of asset.

During this transaction I would like set valuation areas, eg. book and cost. For another invoice for the same WBS I would like to assign this number of asset but another areas, eg book and special tax.

Now I m executing only book area this transaction. Another areas Iu2019m posting by using abso.

I would like post all area by using only one transaction.

My question is, is it possible without using ABAP?

Hi,

Define all the depreciation areas in your Chart of depreciation. Now you have an option either to deactivate a few at the asset class level. If you don't select this option, you still have the option to deactivate the areas at the asset level provided your screen layout permits you.

Based on your business process either you can choose the correct asset class you want(1st option) or deactivate the areas once the asset is created (option 2).
