FI_DOCUMNT archiving process.

Dear All,

I am in archiving process of object FI_DOCUMNT. Need to understand a scenarios. We have executed deletion process under SARA for the period of 01.08.2008 to 31.08.2008. There is a line item which was open till date (31.08.2008) and cleared on 31.03.2009 but system has also deleted this line item.

Is it correct behavior of system because we have only selected for the month of Aug,2008 and system deleted item which had been cleared in March,2009.

Please suggest.

You mean if the same document will be cleared as on 01.04.2009 (F.Y.2009) then it will not archive.

It appears to be looking at posting period. So if the posting period was 2008 and it was closed later, archiving would select it. This appears to be correct behavior to me.
