SAP GUI crashes in crmd_order transaction

Hi All,

When our team tries to change user status in CRMD_ORDER they are prompted to print the form with dialog box not allowing them to cancel. But they do not need a print out so instead "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" is used and when prompted to save the file, the dialog box can be cancelled.

But suddenly we are facing a complete crash of SAP GUI once the "Save File" box is cancelled and when we try to navigate to different tab.

We have a printer configured with access method as G: Front End printing with Control Tech. and Device type as HKSAPWIN

Can anyone suggest what can be checked.

thanks, Sean.

Hi Shyam,

Thanks. Unfortunately the smartforms triggered fails on LP01 configuration which is SAPWIN type with access method F

What we need is to get this working on LP02 with type SAPWIN5 and method G

Hello Sean,

What is your SAP GUI version and patch level?

We experienced numerous different problems after applying patch level 15 for SAP GUI 710 for windows.

This is probably worth trying... Try applying patch 16 which actually solved all problems (introduced by patch level 15).

Good luck

Hi,

Thanks again. We were on patch level 7 when problem started. As note I found and mentioned above, I upgraded to level 15 but it didn't help.

Currently our team is on patch level 7 and my GUI on 15. Both facing errors.

regards, Sean.

Found Note 1377697. Checking if it is relevant for us.

Hi All,

As per the note mentioned above we tried updating GUI patch level but no success. Update on line item status triggers a smartform.

Any help please.

regards, Sean.
