SAP GTS SPL Document blocked when the SPL entry has blank fields like country Name city

Hi Folks,

I have a case where; when documents are SPL screened a high number of documents gets blocked. When analyzed further, understood that this happens when the Document is passed from the feeder system to GTS, the original document has partner with Name, City and Country but there are some SPL entries which have any one of this fields blank (like the country is blank in SPL entry )and still its a hit and document is blocked.

Here the SPL address comparison procedure is on City, Country & Name and joined together with logical AND.

Do we have any solution for this? The expectation is that the document should get blocked only when all the comparison terms have the maintained Minimum match Percentage per Search term...

Dev, this is the normal behavior of SPL screening. The SPL entries without country are designed to be applicable for all countries.

My suggestion : you should review the lists which you have subscribed to and talk to the data provider about this expectation.

Thanks for the Reply. Yes, I understand this is kind of a standard behavior. But Onetime customer Orders are huge in number in my case and it gets blocked for more than 50 % of the documents. Hence the Business has to dedicatedly spend a good amount of time almost every day in reviewing such documents and releasing it.

So the thought here was to skip such cases wherein we are comparing the partner address parameters with a corresponding blank entry in SPL entry. Because that's just a probable block and not an accurate one.

I tried using the BADI /SAPSLL/ES_SPL_RESULT but it was not working as expected.
