setiting the job control in ecc production in tcode : LBWE

Hi Experts,

Can you please tell me how many requests will be created while activatin an data in Tcode : LBWE.?

As per my knowledge 3 requests will be create

1) when we click on maintain DS

2) when we click on DS name

3) when we clcik on activate/inactive of the DS.

note : in RSA6 also we get one request while activating.

.totally 4 requests will be created,am i correct ?

Now can you please tell

1) Do i need to transport the request created in RSA6 first and Then requests of LBWE.(i mean the order of transoport)?

2) should i set the job control in devlopment system or should log on to ECC production andset the job control fr Delts in LBWE.?

i think i will not authorised to set it in ECC Production ?

Hi,

1.It is not required to create 4 different requests for RSA6 and LBWE changes .You can use only one request instead of creating new requests every time. At the time of assigning the request in the 'Prompt' screen select 'Own requests' option instead of create. It will again prompt you to select your previously created request and assign that request to the new change.

So all your changes will be captured into one request instead of different requests. You can release this request after you complete the development.

2.You have to set it in ECC production system .If you dont have the authorization ,request your basis team to schedule the job.They would help you.

Hi,

Two requests will be created

1. Customized Req

2. Workbench Req

RSA6 Req also cover under above one.

Both are same so you just Transport the above 1 and 2 requests.

You need to set the job control i.e. V3 job in individual systems manually.
