Recently we had SAP consultants from SAP stating to a client that SAP MII will be replaced by SAP PO and that SAP MII has no future any more.

The client is up in arms in regards to this statement.

Is there any documentation that backs this statement up or is this untrue and if so where can I get documentation stating the latter ?

There is a good Blog from my colleague Sam that describes the difference between SAP MI and PI

https://blogs.sap.com/2014/03/04/sap-mii-and-sap-pi-in-the-industrial-space/

Taking it into account, I wonder from whom exactly you have such information. Could you share the names of SAP Consultants? It may be a good idea to ask them to elaborate in the reply to the question you posted.

Regards,

Alex.

Hi Morne,

And I assume that these folks are experts in PO and know nothing about MII...

Names would be very good to have so we can properly chastise them for misleading the customer!
