Installation of sapgui 7.10

Hi,

I am for the first time upgrading the gui version from 6.40 to 7.10 I want to install gui 7.10 on individual pc and not through installation server. I have d/l compilation cd 4 from market place. For testing purpose, I installed microsoft .net 2.0 . Then I uninstalled gui 6.40 from that pc. Then I tried to run NWSAPSetup.exe from the compilation folder, however it gives error that programme encountered a error. The error logs are as follows

I want to know whether I am going right way or otherwise. Also I want to how the folder gui/windows/win32 gets created if we want to carryout installtion on standalone pc.

Hello,

i think this is an installtion scenario of an UNSUPPORTED way...

I think, you have copied the files from the source cd to your share on

\10.240.86.145

but not in the same structure as it is avaliable on the cd !!!

Please copy all folders of the source cd to your share

After this, please read the FRONTEND INSTALLATION GUIDE, which you can find in the

DOCU folder.
