Maintain Alternate hierarchy on ERP/SFIN master data

Dear all

Per my understanding the ERP/SFIN master data are not editable when we consume the same in BPC.

Is it possible to maintain an alternate hierarchy in it on top of the hierarchy we get from the ECC?

Please help with any how-to guides in this regard.
