Autodeployment - Exclude from Deployment

Hi,

We have a SC which is used for testing/verification purpose in Development, and it gets auto deployed to a runtime system (call it "AS1").

However, we do not want this to be depolyed on the runtime system attached to the Consolidation compartment (say "AS2").

We do have "Exclude from Deployment" option under "Track Data" in landscape configurator, but it seems that these settings are applicable to both Dev. and Cons. compartments.

Does anyone know any configuration/option to control this exclusion at more granular level (compartment based rather then at track level). Or atleast diabling a particular SC from autodeployment,while allowing others.

Hi,

for future search:

you are looking for the Disable Auto deployment feature. This will restrict deployment for dev and/or cons.

You find a checkbox for Development and Consolidation runtime systems on the /devinf -- CMS -- Landscape Config -- track data -- Runtime Systems tab. Obviously for test and prod there is no feature like this, since there synchron deployment takes place (and not async deployment).
