Hi

This is done basically when upgrade a system from lower version to the higher.

SPDD transation you can see different subobjects like this.

With Modification Assistant

Data Elements

Without Modification Assistant

Database Tables

Under this you have different alerts in form of traffica lights for each data element which has been changed by SAP.

Green-Automatically taken care

Red/yellow -Need to decide whether to ADOPT MODIFICATIONS or RESET TO ORIGINAL.

If you want the old changes then ADOPT MODIFICATIONS else RESET TO ORIGINAL to get latest modifications by sap.

For the objects which doesnt which you have adopted modifications will remain in the list and rest will disappear. You have to complete for all the objects until unless its object colour turns green entirely.

REMEMBER here you will only get the standard objects.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Jyo,

I didn't see ADOPT MODIFICATION, and there is a STOP before the data element in SPDD, because at the beginning, I clicked the yellow traffic light and when I clicked BACK, the yellow traffic light turned to STOP which color is red. can you give me a detail explanation about why and how to handle?

Kind regards
