Pioneer Netweaver Release exact date

What is the due date for Pioneer to be released ,it was supposed to be 2010 Q1 ,any inputs please.

when can we start development using Pioneer realistically ?

Hi there,

I've attended SAPWorld in Hannover and spoke to several SAP Representatives. They told me that "SAP BO Advanced Analysis" - which is now the official name - would release on 1st of June.

It is 12/06/2010 today. Any news on Pioneer release?

Product name changes were made recently, but I haven't seen the June 1 date for Advanced Analysis anywhere. I beleive a beta is now available, but the only dates I have seen for release all say Sept 2010 or Q4 2010.

Advanced Analysis will use BEx queries as a data source, so any development effort in BEx won't be lost.

Did you get the exact date of the Pioneer release ? Our client is also planning to get Pioneer and like to know the date.

I would suggest you look at the roadmap available in the BI / BusinessObjects area

it does not give the exact date and the road map just gives 2010 Q1 also it is very old published...

and we have the client who wants to know whether we should start with Pioneer or with Bex

Basic question is if we have to start the development around july 2010 ,should we start with Bex or Pioneer

we do not want to migrate from Bex to Pinoeer since its vanilla installation
