for example -

APC - 10000 (Original cost)

I want to take 60% of amount for depreciation on its original cost

i..e.., 6000 for depreciation .(Written down value method with 10% for 10 years)

After five years the cost of the asset will be 3000 and here i want to take the 40% of the present amount i..e.., 3000*40/100 = 1200 , and calculate depreciation on this for remaining 5 years ?

In the Multi Level method of Depreciation Key, you have this field called as "Reduct"

This can be used to reduce the base value by the % you need

Also, using the YEAR column in Multi Level Method, you can decide that after 5 years, the new entry in MLM should be applicable and a new % in REDUCT can be maintained

Acq Year ---> Year ---> Reduct.

9999 -----------5----------60%

9999 ----------999 -------40%
