error during J1INCHLN report

Dear All

At the time of executing the report J1INCHLN (Create remittance challan) with Section 194A i am getting the

error message

"Number group not maintained for CO code 1000 section and business place 194A"

Message no. 8I704

I am too facing same issue all the config setting are maintained properly still facing problem.

When I am posting vendor challan in "J1INCHLN-Post" getting below erro

"Number group not maintained for CO code IN07 section IN07 and business place 194I"

I have checked setting I have maintained number ranges, but not find reason for peculiar error.

Please provide the solution and let me know where I am missing.

maintain the number group with section code and company code combination in table J_1IEWTNUMGR_1

My actual problem is to avoid the compulsion of Business Place/section code in the J1INCHLN , I have created Z report

which has removed the validation of Business place / section code, so without mentioning the same i want to

execute the report where i am getting the successful result in case of Section 194C but in other all cases i m

getting the error :

No group not maintained for co code 1000 section and business place 194 A Message No. 194A

I have also maintained J1INUM, J1INO AND J1INUMBER.

AND TABLES J_1IEWTNUMGR_1 , J_1IEWTNUMGR.

Check the following are maintained or not?

1. J1INUM

2. J1INO

3. J1INUMBER - this is client specific - Number ranges for challan

Dear,

Use transaction code SM30 and update table J_1IEWTNUMGR_1 which will remove the error.

You can also use SE16 to update this table.

Use whichever you find comfortable.

Dear Mr Chintan

Is the number range is related to year specific.

Except J_1IEWTNUMGR_N every thing is properly maintained and now

we are maintaining entries J_1IEWTNUMGR_N with the said details as CC , section code 1000, Off tax key

as 194A and now the number group 01. Still we r facing the same problem.
