Delete Calculation View in HANA Studio

Hello experts,

HANA Studio allows delete calculation views in development environment by right-clicking the object and then clicking the option Delete in the context menu, but it does not prompt for a DU (delivery unit) as when we activate a new or changed object.

How then can we delete the same object from the HANA test environment?

Is there a different way to delete an object in HANA development that prompt for a DU so we can move the "deletion of the object" to further environments of our landscape?

Thanks,

R.M.:.

    Hello Ric,

I use CTS+ to transport my changes. I attach my packages (right click on the package) to a DU and then the DU is exported to a transport request. The calculation views can be deleted in the development environment attached to the DU and can be transported to the subsequent environments. The views will be deleted in your next systems in the landscape.

    Thank You,
    Sai

    • Thank you Sai.

Assign the package to a DU and then delete the calculation view resolved the problem. The calculation view was deleted in HANA Dev and then in subsequent environments after moving the DU/Transport.

      Cheers,
