Hi, I have assigned 03 insp lot in material master and in routing I assigned 150 as inspection point (with partial lot for each inspection point setting in routing header). The issue is that if the operation qty is 10, the system is allowing me to enter more than 10 (either partial or final qty) while results recording (first time 5 qty and next time 6 qty) in qa32, thru results recording tab. I want some control that system should not allow more than the operation qty to do results recording. Please advise how to attain the same. In case if we have 10 operations, do we need to do UD (QA11) after completion of results recording of all operations or can we do the UD for individual operations. Please advise.

Dear Yadav

Kindly understand that the field Partial quantity that you are getting while result recording is an information field. It has nothing to do with actual confirmation of the quantity. So no control will help you in controlling this particular field.

For effective functioning of 03 inspection you can follow the following steps

For a better control over the 03 inspection these setting have to be defined in PP configuration for production order Type in Tcode OPK4 in config

SPRO > Production> Shop floor control> confirmation> define confirmation parameters

Maintain

1)Operation sequence u2013 error when order sequence is not adhered to

2) Overdeilvery u2013 Error when over delivery tolerance is exceeded

3) Results Rec. (QM)- Error message if no Insp results exist

Operation wise UD cannot be given , instead there is a valuation can be done for each inspection point recording

Dear Gajesh, My operation qty is 5 and in qa32, results recording tab, i enetred partial qty as 7, system is accepting even more than 5 qty. i hope system should not accept more than 5 as total operation qty is only 5. i made setting in opk4 for results as error message. still it is accepting. please advise.

Hi

1. Do you want to restrict the quantities entered in Confirm activities? Then you restrict it through OPK4 - Overdelivery not allowed.

2. We can't do UD for Individual operations, we can do UD only after completion of results recording to all operations ( ie., for the entire lot only UD can be given)
