Regarding Item versioning, I have met an issue comparing one or more versions of the same Item since there is no standard functionality to easily achieve it from the original Item view (involving "Reviews" and "What-If" adds complexity from my point of view).
An easy solution would be to have the details of this dashboard (Object type "RIV" Item Version, structure /RPM/TS_ITEM_DASH_ATT )
instead of the dashboard provided from the Items view (Object type "VAI" Item Version Header, structure RPM/TS_VERSION_DASH_ATT)
SAP says to do not swap the tables for object type but using the originals structure (see above) it seems like I should add custom fields in the Customer Inclued CI_RPM_ITEM_VERSION_CTRL and populate them at version creation with a custom code. It looks to me like there should me another way out for such an easy requirement.
