Dear guru,

Here i am facing problem for Engineering Change Number Where it is used ? what is purpose of these?

How it can Customize Plz.give Customizing with T-code in detail?

THat is to restrict the changes in the master data.. For Eg when a BOM is changed you can trace the chnages...

But if the same is deleted,You cannot track the same.. In that case you can use engineering change management...

If all the necessary settings are done then you acn create a change numberin cc01..

Using that number only you will be allowed to change a BOm or routing etc.. and using that change number you can track the changes done
